Dear Tammy,

Routine... If you're a parent, the kids are back to school and sports are back in full swing. If you're a student, it's back to the daily grind of studying and tests. Plan now to break the fall season routine and take advantage of the many serving opportunities coming up! Starting in October, we are making a big push towards the Phase 1 completion of the Missionary Training Center/Auditorium at Rancho Sordo Mudo. This is a perfect overnight trip for the whole family, or high school/college group. Read about this and other serving opportunities as we seek to make serving HIM routine.

Rancho Sordo Mudo- MTC Update
"One Step At A Time"

Looking for the perfect overnight serving opportunity in Baja that you can feel safe bringing the whole family to? Look no further than Rancho Sordo Mudo, located in the Guadalupe Valley about 1 1/2 hours from the border. Construction is well underway on a training center, that when completed, will educate local and international attendees on how to minister to and meet the needs of unreached deaf children worldwide.

We are looking for able bodied men, women, and teenagers to be a part of finishing the foundation and block wall portion of the project. We are starting with a Sept 30/ Oct 1st trip that leaves Orange County early Friday afternoon and returns Saturday evening. Cost of the trips will vary depending on transportation costs, but rarely exceed 40-50 dollars per person (we always try to give family discounts) and includes meals, overnight lodging, and insurance expenses. If you can't make the Oct 1st trip we are scheduling weekly weekend trips throughout Oct and Nov that depending on group preference, could be either FRI/SAT or SAT/SUN. And, if mixing, pushing, and pouring concrete isn't for you, we always need help making meals and providing support for the work group, as well as helping out the RSM staff and students.

TO RESERVE YOUR SPOT FOR ANY OF OUR RSM TRIPS contact Curtis at: 949 510-3314.

If you would like to donate towards the construction costs of the project, we are in the midst of a fall giving campaign called "One Step At A Time". You can raise funds towards the completion of the 3 remaining steps of the amphitheater or a section of block wall. Each "step" has material and labor cost of 2,000 dollars.
