STAY TUNED FOR ANNOUNCEMENTS ON UPCOMING AND UPDATED SERVING PROJECTS......

STM would like to open this months newsletter with a "thank you" to all of you who make this serving ministry possible...........

Mark 9:23 says: "What do you mean, 'If You can'?" Jesus asked. "Anything is possible if a person believes." If anything, that is what this project taught us. The further we moved along in the building process, the greater our willingness to rely on God's timing, provision and grace grew. A seemingly impossible vision dreamed up around a bonfire three years ago now stands in rainbow colors, covered with hand painted tiles, and brand new cribs inside ready to take in infants that might not have a place to go otherwise.  We are truly grateful to anybody and everybody who said "yes" to being used by God and came along side to support this God driven project!

With love and blessings,

Steve and Gesa Hibler

DOOR OF FAITH NURSERY OPENS!!!!

Over 300 Attend the Grand Opening Celebration
 Dedication Crowd
Over 300 folks from the United States and Mexico braved the rain and even a tsunami warning to attend the DOF Nursery Grand Opening on March 27th. The ceremony marked the end a 2 1/2 year building project and the beginning of a new home for pre-mature and newborn infants for many years to come. The dedication address was given by a local pastor. Six other area orphanages (along with staff and kids from Rancho Sordo Mudo) were also present to offer their support.

A NOTE FROM the DOF ADMINISTRATORS...........

We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone at Strong Tower Ministries

and their many volunteers for working so faithfully to bring the nursery project
to completion.  Beyond any brick, paint, or tile, these projects are about changing
lives. Yes, changing the lives of the infants, but also the lives of everyone who

has touched and will touch this project.  We are called to be Christ to others and

to take on his image. These projects allow people to show and experience Christ's

example of sacrifice. When we're walking correctly, everyone receives way more
than they give. God's ways are not like those of the world - the more we serve

others, the more we are blessed.

Once again, we want to thank everyone who has blessed this work with their

efforts, knowing full well that God has (and will) bless them for stepping out and

touching other people's lives.

Sincerely,
DJ & Lynette

A TESTIMONIAL FROM SOMEONE WHO ATTENDED.....

Every time I go on a day mission I wonder if I am doing right in living such an "ordinary life" because it's so energizing to me to pour my life just one day that I could just imagine having the opportunity to do it more. I dream of being not successful but fruitful and I love hearing stories of people like the glamorous girl from Orange County who left her job at a posh architectural firm to move to the orphanage, or the families who left everything to do life changing work in the lives of children. The couple who dreamed up building this amazing nursery that just opened at the orphanage and it took them three years to build but it became their lives work. I know so many stories of lives live radically for Jesus and what I do seems to be nothing but a drop in the ocean of what needs to be done, but today at church God revealed something new to me via the gentleman speaking whose name I don't remember but his words are just resonating in my brain non stop today, "To follow God's heart into the world gives me a desire to grow DEEPER and a passion to go FURTHER". deeper and further are two key words in my life right now because I do have a thirst to grow deeper in God's word and a desire to go further in my generosity, my mission and the outpouring of my life for God's glory.

The best statement I heard this morning was " Doing big things for a big God is merely and ultimately the accumulation of doing little things for people, the accumulation of countless faithful acts by faithful people with humility and a servant heart."

So I will continue to dream big and I will continue to try to surround myself with people who are living the radical loving serving generosity lifestyle I want to live. I am making a commitment to God to do it day by day in the small ways I am able to until He opens door to do more....

For those wishing to continue to be a part of these children's lives, stay tuned for upcoming trips. You can also contact Steve at 714 397-2229 or Dj at www.dofo.org .
