Well, summer is here, and with it brings a lot of serving opportunities for you, your family, small group, youth group, or office group. Whether it's serving locally in Santa Ana or in Baja, Mexico, plan time that will bring joy not only to the people and children you are serving, but you as well. Also, please read about the upcoming October 9th Living Waters and WetnWild5k benefits at Wild Rivers
Waterpark. Our ministry has stepped out in faith to host a major outreach event that has the potential to impact thousands of people locally and in Baja. We are currently looking to schedule some dynamic youth speakers, worship bands, and volunteers to come along side and help make the event a success. NOW is the time to talk to your company, youth group leaders, or youth organizations about participating in or scheduling the event, as it will be here before we know it. Together, we can make a difference.

Upcoming STM Outreach Event

This year STM is hosting an event we're sure your family, youth organization, or church group won't want to miss! We are inviting folks from all over San Diego, Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange Counties to join us for a fun-filled day at Wild Rivers Waterpark in Irvine, CA. The event is titled LIVING WATERS and kicks off after the WetnWild5k. Between 10:00AM and 4:00PM the waterpark will be closed to the public except for those coming to the event! The day will include all of the normal waterpark attractions,
along with a Worship Venue featuring live music and featured guest speakers. There will also be a Ministry Fair designed to showcase dozens of ministries from Southern California and Baja, Mexico, that you or your youth group can connect with. So whether it's a great outreach opportunity you're looking for, or just a family fun day, LIVING WATERS is the place to be. All proceeds of the event will go towards STM and the projects and ministries we serve.
SO HOW CAN I HELP?
Get the word out.
Tell your youth pastor, school activities coodinator, or boss about the event and start making plans for your group to attend.
Become a Sponsor.
Help offset the costs of the event by becoming a sponsor. Entitlement packages are available by email or we will meet with you or your company to discuss becoming a sponsoring partner. There are also opportunities to "sponsor a child for the day" which will allow a less fortunate child the opportunity to have a day at the waterpark.
Find a Guest Speaker or a Youth Band.
We are looking to finalize a decision this month on 6 dynamic youth speakers and 6 worship bands. We will have an 800 person venue inside the park that 3,500-5,000 folks will be rotating through to hear some great messages and music. If you know of a group or speaker that would be perfect for an event like this, have them contact us or send us their info.
Make it a Fundraiser for your school or ministry.
We are offering, for those wanting to really get behind the effort, the opportunity to sell tickets and receive proceeds back to be used for their own upcoming youth mission trips, school programs, ministry projects, or cause.
Become a Volunteer.
We need a lot of folks right now and on the day of the event, to help make this a success. Areas we could use help in include the following: spending some time on the phones contacting churches and schools, distributing posters and fliers to local businesses, helping out at the 5k, volunteering at the prayer tent, worship venue, ministry fair, or one of the many other venues on the day of the event.
