Door of Faith Nursery Grand Opening!
Save the date! On Saturday, February 27th everyone is invited to attend the much anticipated grand opening of the Door of Faith Nursery Project. The dedication ceremony will begin at 11AM, with lunch to follow. This will be a great opportunity for those of you that have faithfully supported this project for the past two years to attend, along with your family and friends.
For those wishing for a "no hassle" trip, you have the opportunity of booking a spot on an "air conditioned, bathroom equipped, DVD playing" tour bus that will provide Lake Forest and San Diego pick-up and drop offs. The cost is 35.00 per person and includes transportation, lunch, and registration fees. For more information or to reserve bus transportation go to www.strongtowerministries.info and click on the Door of Faith Nursery icon on the home page. Please be sure to complete the form for "unaccompanied minors" if your child/teen is going without you! Interested in purchasing a "nursery warming gift"? No nursery would be complete without cribs for
the babies and DOF is looking for l5. You can purchase a crib yourself by going to: Walmart Crib or send a donation in the amount of 160.00 making sure to note "DOF Crib". |
Santa Ana Project
Serving Opportunity
Saturday, January 17th is the next Saturday Santa Ana Project Outreach. Volunteer time is from 8:00 AM to about 1:00 PM, and we do need 5-6 volunteers to stay for clean up, 12:00-3:30 PM... During the month of December over 800 families were given food, clothing, medical care, prayer, and a chance to connect with a local church. PLEASE email Dimitri at 111@sahgma.com or call 714 357-0587 if you are planning to attend as an accurate volunteer count is necessary to make the day run smoothly! Also, dont forget that the free medical clinic is always looking for qualified doctors, P.A.'s and RN's to donate 1 4hr block per month. |

There are few greater joys in life than when you look into a scared, hurting, or hungry child's eyes and know that you are going to make a difference. Our mission is to help bring children out of danger, hunger, and terror by delivering them into God's strong tower of safety, warmth, and love. It is our mission to change the world by delivering these children from extreme poverty, releasing them from spiritual emptiness, eliminating their illiteracy, and enabling them to fulfill their life's purpose through God's love.
As we embark on the New Year, we have more serving opportunities locally and abroad than ever before!
We invite you to step out and join us on our journey to reach as many children as possible.
In God's endless grace,
Michael Walsh President and Founder

NEW FOR 2010
STM Baja Survival Needs Project
As most of us are aware by now, the ministries operating in Baja Mexico have faced severe setbacks over the last two year's. This is due in large part to Mexico's economic issues, the threat of violent crime, and the swine flu scare. These issues have greatly reduced local support as well as assistance coming from outside the country in the form of food, clothing, and basic survival needs. While these ministries remained steadfast and faithful that God would continue to provide, it became apparent to STM that critical needs were not being met, and it was time to focus some efforts into becoming part of the solution.
Beginning in the
spring of 2009, assisting Christian churches and organizations such as Hilarious Givers, Club Dust, Corazon de Vida, Convoy of Hope, Gleanings, Global Aid Network, the Connection Church, Feed My Starving Children, Saddleback Church, and Children's Hunger Fund aligned with STM to meet the needs of churches, orphanages, schools, and entire communities in the Baja region. During 2009, over 500,000 pounds of food, clothing, medical and basic needs supplies were distributed to ministries who are actively changing the lives of thousands of children and families. In every situation, spiritual as well as physical needs are met.
We invite you to join us in 2010 as the efforts continue. There are serving opportunities both locally and in Mexico associated with this project that include sorting and distribution from locations in Santa Ana and San Diego, and connecting with churches, organizations, and orphanages in Mexico to help transport and distribute
survival items. Dozens of serving opportunities now exist for you to become part of the solution. For more information, visit the Baja Survival Needs Distribution Project page of our website.
