Greetings,
Christianity is the
only religion that has a savior who came to earth in human
form, fulfilled numerous age old prophecies, and performed
countless miracles, healing, signs and wonders. Rising from
the dead on Sunday after bleeding to death on Friday is
the undisputable proof that Jesus is indeed the true Son of
God. The last words that Jesus said before ascending
to heaven were:
"All authority
in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and
make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you
always to the very end of the age." Matthew
28:19
Please join our
family at Strong Tower Ministries as we seek to help transform
hearts and souls for eternity with Jesus. We look forward to the
privilege of serving next to you, and wish you and your
family a blessed Easter celebration.

WHAT A CREW!! Volunteer men,
women and children from Saddleback Church, a local church and
Christian rehab house in La Mision, and kids from DOF join forces
to build the new infant home.

All
it took was 3 Saturday trips to Mexico, 50 or so volunteers, Sergio
and his crew, some teenage kids from the orphanage, 200+bags of
cement, multiple loads of sand and gravel, and a lot of muscle. But
at the end of it all, the DOF Nursery has a second story
floor! During the month of April we plan laying some
block for the second story and start focusing on finishing the
inside areas of the first story in order to get the babies moved in
as soon as possible. In order to finish the first
floor this is what we are going to need:
1. A Door and Window source is going to need to be
found that would be willing to provide either donated or discounted
materials (A downloadable window and door schedule can be found at www.strongtowerminitries.info
on the Door of Faith project page).
2. We will need some volunteers with electrical,
plumbing, window and door installation, and plaster experience
to grab some buddies and make some weekday or weekend
trips down to the orphanage.
3. An additional 20,000 in funding will be
necessary to complete the downstairs area.
To
get more information or to join one of the groups going down please
call Steve at 714 397-2229.

Starting in June, a valid
Passport or Passport Card will be the only acceptable form of
identification for those traveling to and from Mexico by
automobile. There will be plenty of serving trips in Mexico coming
up this summer so don't delay! You can go to certain local
libraries and post offices that make it a quick and easy
process. For more information on Passport requirements go to:
"On June 1, 2009, the
U.S. government will implement the full requirements of the land
and sea phase of WHTI. The proposed rules require most U.S.
citizens entering the United States at sea or land ports of entry
to have a passport, passport card, or other travel document
approved by the Department of Homeland Security.
CHILDREN: U.S. citizen
children under the age of 16 will be able to present the original
or copy of their birth certificate, or other proof of U.S.
citizenship such as a naturalization certificate or citizenship
card.
Groups of U.S. citizen children ages 16 through 18, when traveling
with a school or religious group, social organization, or sports
team, will be able to enter under adult supervision with originals
or copies of their birth certificates or other proof of
citizenship."
